On the Way Home, a diary Laura kept during their move from DeSmet, SD to Mansfield, MO, is an odd little book for multiple reasons. I’ll share my insights next month during my “A Little About Laura” blog series.

Then I’ll pick up

By this weekend, I’ll be reading

  1. I’m crazy curious about We’ll Be the Last Ones to Let You Down! It sounds fascinating to me. I hope you enjoy it 🙂

I haven’t read any Wilder in AGES. Sigh…such good memories!

Have a great week, happy reading!

    • I’m really looking forward to reading We’ll Be the Last Ones to Let You Down. It’s by a local author who I follow on Twitter. I’ve read so many interesting reviews so far that I just can’t wait to read it!

    • On the Way Home was interesting based on what Laura felt important to write and Rose’s “setting.”

Have fun with your weekly reads. I’m not sure I could read a book with cupcakes in the title without eating a bunch myself!
