I feel like this is a place where I can be honest. So here it is, I failed. It’s just so complex. (The book, not my excuse.)
And that means this week I’ll still be reading
I am pushing myself to read this, but that’s OK. Sometimes I have to push myself to experience new things. I don’t just read for entertainment. I read to experience and learn new things.

The 1000th Voice 
I only finished one book this week and wouldn’t have if I didn’t spend all weekend working with an audiobook. I hope you finish that one this week!

Thanks! I really hate slow weeks. I did forget that I finished one audiobook on my commute last week–Brother, I’m Dying by Edwidge Danticat. It was very good.

I finished The Meaning of Liff this week. Almost done with Dracula too. Thinking of starting Quiet next, and, maybe The Bloodletter’s Daughter, or possibly 12 years a Slave (which is super cheap on kindle)
